ELECTION NOTICE.; WESTERN MAORI DISTRCT. | IN pursuance of the Maori Repre- 1 sentation Act 1867, and the Amend- ' ments thereof, I, George Thomas I Wilkinson, Returning Officer for the * Western Maori Electoral District, do hereby give notice that, by. virtue of. a writ bearing date the sixteenth day of November, 1886, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of One. qualified t person to serve as a member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Courthouse, Wanganui, at noon on THURSDAY, the second day of December, 1886, and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on THURSDAY, the tweaty-third day of December, 1886.
