Advertisments EILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE is hereby given in pur- ' suance of the provisions continued in Clause 140 of the Municipal Corpor- : ations Act, 1876, (1.) That the 'Feiiding Borough Council proposes to raise a loan under the Government Leans to Local Bodies Act 1886, for the purpose of building part of a bridge over the Oroua River between Feilding and Aorangi. (2.) That the said Borough Council proposes to borrow one thousand pounds for such purpose, as aforesaid, . (3.) That a Special Rate of one penny and one halfpenny in the pound on all rateable value of all property within the said Borough will be levied for the re-payment of said loan of one thousand pounds. NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Burgesses of the Borough of Feilding will be held at the Town at 8 p.m. oil Tuesday, the 7th day of December, for the purpose of considering the proposal to borrow the sum of £1000 for the construction of part of a bridge over the Oroua Biver between Feilding and Aorangi. DEFAULTING Batepayers are notified that after the next meeting of the Council (December 9), summonses will be issued against all who are in arrears with their rates in accordance with the resolution passed at the last meeting. This resolution will be adhered to as it is necessary, not only to reduce the bank overdraft, but to obtain the Government subsidy on as much of the general rate as can be collected. GEO. 0.
