STEVENS AND GORTON'S STOCK REPORT.

We have held two large and satisfactory stock sales this week. The annual sale of Mr D. Fraser and Mr Dalrymple's stock at Bulls on the 23rd, and our usual stock sale at FeUding on the 25th. The attendance at both sales was good and bidding for cattle spirited but there was little demand for fat sheep. Over 300 head of cattle, about 200 sheep and 15 horses were offered at Bulls and every pea of cattle excepting two, three pens of sheep and eleven horses were sold. At Feilding we yarded close on 500 head of cattle and about 1000 sheep, we sold most of the cattle and all the sheep. We quote the following prices : — Cattle. — Bulls: 3 and 4-year bullocks, £4 11/6 to £4 17/-; S-year «teers, £4 8/6 ; Fat cows, £4 4/- to £4 5/6; small fat bullocks, £5 5/-; pure-bred 3-year heifers, £3 2/6; well-bred cows, £2 16/- j empty store cows, £2 11/6; speyed 3-year heifers, £3; pure-bred cows, £4; yearling bulls, 3 guineas to 4£ guineas. Feilding: Fat bullqcks £6 6/-; fat cows, 4 v £319/-to £4; 3-year bullocks, £4 5/-; 2£-year steers, £3 7/6 to £3 15/-; 18-month mixed, 32/- to 33/-; year steers, 37/6 to 39/-; 2-year steers, £3 ; 2-year heifers, £2 to £2 7/6; store cows, £2; milkers, £2 17/6; calves, 17/-. Sheep. — Bulls: Fat wethers, 8/7; fat ewes, 7/-. Feilding; Shorn 2tooth hoggets, 7/1 ; fat shorn ewes, 6/6: woolly hoggets, 6/9; ewes with lambs, 10/10 ; dry ewes, 7/6 ; mixed sheep, 10/-. Horses. — Bulls : Hippocampus 3year filly, 15 guineas; Armorer 2-year gelding, 13£ guineas; brood mares, £9 to £10 ; harness hacks, £4 to £15 10/-. Pigs. -a- Bulls: Store pigs, 8/- to 15/-. Feilding r Suckers, 3/- to 4/3 ; store pigs, 6/3.
