The Bulgarian people have expressed themselves absolutely averse to the appointment of Prince Nicholas of Mongrelia, to the throne of Bulgaria. Most of the powers have assented to th© Eußßian proposal that Prince Nicholas Mingrelia be appointed to the throne of Bulgaria. The British Government have expressed a desire to consult the wishes of the Bulgarian people on the subject.
