Hospital and Charitable Aid Board Elections
At noon yesterday a meetings was held at the Borough Council offices to elect a representative for the Marton and Feilding Boroughs an the above Board. Mr Bockett> of Marton, waa elected. Mr Gk C. Hill was the Eeturning Officer. At 2 p.m. a meeting was held at the Manchester Eoa.d Board offices to elect, a representative. Proposed by F. Y. Lethbridg* f or Manckester Road Board, seconded by F. J. Bealing for HalconibV Town . Board, That Messrs D. H. Macarthur and Qt. M. Suelson be the two members, elected by the Road Boards ia the Oroua County for the Wanganui District Hospital Board.— Carried. At 2.15 p.m. a meeting was held to elect two members for ihe united district of Wanganui and Patea Charitable Aid Board. 1 Proposed by Mr Taylor for Kiwitea Edad Board, seconded by Mr Lethbridge for Manchester Eoad Board,. That Messrs Macarthur and Snelsou be elected membeis of the abova Board. — Carried. The Returning Officer, Mr O. Bray,, declared the aboro gentlemen duly elected.
