The annual meeting of the Wellington District Aticient Order of Fore*. toys, was held at the District' Chambors on Tlitfr^fl^'last at Wellington. At the banquet in the even-*^ ing responding to the toast of "ThoWellington Distriot Ancient Order Apt , t Foresters" the District Secretary, Bra •• • J. T. Bovia, gave some interesting statistics of die Order, showing that the Foresters numbered 661,994 ' members, atid had an accumulated capital of £3,720^40, being an increase of 13,789 members and £18,630 of capital. The colour question; in America had been amicably settled at the High Court meeting, and juvenilo branches also showed a decoded advance. The Wellington district mow numbered 20 Courts with nearly ,20O> members, and had a capital of nearly £23,000. Two new Courts had been opened and more than 300persons initiated during the year. It was /decided to hold the next district meeting in Wanganui.
