The attendance of buyers was large, continental firms being especially well represented. The prices realised were excellent, good greasy merino selling up to lid per Ib, and good greasy crossbred up to 10£ d. Scoured merinos realised as high as Is 7f d." Greasy meriuos of inferior qualities are from l&d to 2d higher than at the close of the last season, Scoured merinos were 3£d to 4d higher.
