Blue Ribbon Army
*. A meeting of members of the above was held on Thursday evening last to make preparations for the public meeting on the 21st uist. The Rev. Mr Murray presided. The Secretary read .copies of rules from the Blue Ribbon Associations of Palmerston and Halcombe. A committee was appointed to draw up rules for the local force, to be submitted to the next meeting for apA programme was then filled up ot volunteers — singers, reciters, and readers— for the public meeting. Addresses also were promised.
