The Timaru Sensation

£PEE UNITED PEEBB ASSOCIATION.] j Timabu, October 2. The prisoners Thomas Hall and "Margaret Graham Houston were taken to Christchurch this morning by the early train, as it was not generally kuown that they would leave Timaru at that time. There were very few Beonle at the station. The prisoners looked very dejected, and are evidently realising the responsibility of the position in which they are placed more than at the magisterial inquiry. Nothing has been allowed to transpire as to tho result of the examination of the remains of Captain Cam, and although all sorts of rumours are afloat they are founded upon pure surmise. On the application of the Crown Prosecutor, Mr Justice Johnston granted a special jury m the Timaru poisoning case.
