The New Hebrides
[bEUTBB's TKLKGBAXB.T Beceired September 30, 1.16 a.m. Pabis, September 29. In addressing a meeting at Toulouse yesterday, M. de Freycinet, French Premier, declared his Government considered further colonial acquisitions on the part of France were not to be | desired, But that they were determined | to retain those which France already possessed. He expressed a hope that such a solution of the present difficulty with regard te* the New Hebrides would be arrived at, as would be in confirmity with the dignity •£ France.
