The Bepublique Francaise states that in consequence of a German war vessel having shelled villages in the New Hebrides, it renders it impossible for the French troops to evacuate that island without dishonour. The Morning Post says that it is the opinion of diplomatists in Paris that the French Government hayeyresolved to annex the New Hebrides, and that the question will be definitely decidod at the next meeting oEithe Cabinet. - . : O
