• (PEB UNITED FBESS ASSOCIATION.) WkllinotOn, September 27. A very heavy thunderstorm broke over the town at nine o'clock this evening. The lightning was of the the most formidable character, incessent blinding flashes accompanied by a tremendous downpour of hail and rain lasting for an hour. The electric discharges caused some commotion in the telephone exchange. At every discharge all the shutters 'fell down from the annunciators. All the' wires in the telegraph office had to be earthed during the storm. '
