Hall's Forgeries
The twelve informations for forgery on which Thomas Hall has been committed for trial at the R.M. Court Timaru, are as follow : — Of a promissary note for £100, on August 2, 1886; information laid by Detective Kirby. Of a transfer of mortgage to Hall and Meason, Oct. 13, 1885; information laid by John Fraser, Gray's Hill, M'Kenzie Country. Of a promissory noto for £150, on July 19; information laid by John Fraser. Of a promissory note for £50, on August 4 1886 ; information laid by Hugh Campbell, of Pleasant Valley. Of a promissory note for £63 4s, on January 5, 1886; information laid by William Moore, of Timaru. Of a promissory note for £60, on June 5, 1886 ; information laid by VVilliam Moore. Of a promissory note for £40, on May 24; information laid by Ellis Mills. Of a promissory note for £46 10s, on August 10, 1886; information laid by John Cook, of Pleasant Point. Of a memorandum of mortgage, on April 10 ; informatien laid by John Langridge, "Waitohi. Of a promissory note for £45 on July 28 ; information laid by John Langridge. Of a promissory note for £225, on July 16; information laid by Gilbert Laing Meason. Of a transfer of mortgage (Michael Mitton to Hall and Meason), December 8 1885.
