The Home team was composed of W. G. Grace, €K Qt. Hearne, "W. W. Bead, Newham, A. Hearne, Abel, Humphries, Lohmann, Phillips, Maurice Read, and Wookon. The visitors, who won the toss, elected to bat, and succeeded in compiling 207 runs for the loss of nine wickets, Giffen, 1.b.w., 52 ; Jarvis, not out, 45, being the chief Bcorers. , .
