Mary Hassan deposed : — Am a domestic servant in the employ of Mrs Hull. I have seen Hall and Miss Houston to* gether in the dairy ; Miss Houston went in first ; Hall did not ask her anything before I went in. I saw Hall " pulling" Miss Houston in the dairy ; be was pulling her by the arms, and .had his arm round her neck.

After the luncheon adjournment the nurse, Mrs Hannah Ellison, was called ; her evidence was very damaging.
