Timaku, August 25.
Another information for forgery has been laid against Thomas Hall by John Cooke, a farmer, of Pleasant Point. The charge ia that Hall forged a P.N, for L 45 on the fifth August. This ia the fifth charge of forgery.
The Wellington correspondent of the Auckland Herald writes : — " I have made some inquiries to-day respecting the rumour current here that the life of Mrs Hall was insured for L6OOO, and find the statement confirmed.
