WELLINGTON MARKETS. Wbixingtok, Anßnst 23. George Thomas and Co. report produce prices this week ai follows :— Business has been conciderably affected by the unfavourable weather which has prerailed. Flour, £11 to £12; fowl's wheat, 4s, scarce; bran and pellard, £0; wheatraeal, £10 10s; oats— potato and Tartarian seed, 2s 8d to 2s 9d per bushel, ordinary feed 2s 6d to 2* 8d ; oatmeal £13 ; maizo, Ss lOd to 4s ; feed barley, 2s lOd to 8s ; potatoes, £3 10s t* £8 16s; onioni, £11 ; jPrassian-blne peat, 5s 3d to 6s 6d ; field peas, 4a 6d ; beam. 3> 8d to 3a 91 ; cheese, prime 6|d, second-class 3^ to 5d per lb ; hams and bacon, 7d ; honey, 3^ to 5d ; lard, 4d ; eKgs, plentiful at lid per dot; salt butter neglected, 8d ; fresh, Is to Is Id. The market is fully stocked with orange* and other tropical fruit, and prices for good samples were satisfactory ; the Hauroto haring landed (Sydney oon* siunments in bad order, apples are scarce and extreme prices are asked. The demand for poultry is weak ; fowUi 3s ; docks, 3s 6a ; geese, 7s ; turkeys, 8« P«r pair.
