The gun was clasped with both hands, and the muzzle placed up to his left eye. The trigger was pulled by his toe, and his brains were blown out. The bed clsthes were drawn up over his head, evidently to deaden the s«und. Hokitika. Thin Day. John Lange, jeweller, committed suicide. He shot himself in an outhoase at 8 o'clock this morning. It is supposed financial embarrassment led to the fatal deed. Deceased waa well known and widely respected throughout Westlat.d.
