Rioting in Belfast
[beutrbs telegrams.] ' ■ London, August 13. The Protestant population of Belfast are furious at the partisanship shown by the police during the riots. The hospitals are full of wounded - men, women, and children. In th» collision which, occurred at the funeral of a victim of the recent riots, one of the rioters was shot by police. . No further disturbances hare occurred at Belfast during the past . twenty-four hours. The town is now tranquil. • ■ • ■ = Received August 14, 050 a.m. London, August IS. A state of tranquility prevails in Belfast, but the precautions which were taken in view tf further disturbances have in no way been relaxed. / ;•
