We were not able to quit the well-bred heifers at Woodyille,, but sold some odd lots and the sheep yarded. : At'Pahnerston the late frosts ,had told so. much upon the grass that the bidding for cattle was dull. We managed, however, to sell most of the pens, and the same with the sheep. At Sanaon there were-not many head of cattle yarded, ibat the 'largest number of sheep we have ever-had there, being, over 2,000, and as they were a ' particularly . good olass the bidding for thorn was spirited, and resulted man excellent sale.
