More Riots at Belfast
[kEUTEB*B TELEGRAMS.] London, August 7. Rioting lias been renewed in Beliast, and the police were compelled to iire on the mob. in order to quell the •disturbance. Seven persona are known to be injured. August 8. The rioting at Belfast last sight resulted, in a serious pitched battle.; between the police and the mob. The iirrag of the former was more disastrous than first stated, fully fifty persons having been wounded, many fatally. • .. i:J Received August 10, 1 am. ..' . ;•„■• London. Angnsfc9. / Bioting waß continued in Belfast yesterday, and was only suppressed, •trith difficulty. Three persons wore killed in the affray. Considerable reinforcements of constabularlyj have arrived in that town to prevent further disturbance. Received August 10, 12.45 p.m. | London, August 9. Further serious disturbances occurred this morning at Belfast^ when the police were again ordered to fire on the mob, one person being killed and several others wounded. The number killed • during yesterday's riots is shown to -have been eleven, and not three, as telegraphed previously.
