Railway Returns
The following are the traffic returns for the Wanganui section of railway for the period ending 29th May, 1886 :
17 Tho falling off is in the timber and firewood, caused by the wet weather preventing men workiug in the bush. In the corresponding period of 1885, 3063 tons wero forwarded as against 1967 tons for 1886.
