The following are the results : — Trial Steeplechase. — Halicore _1, Mountaineer 2, Spartan 3. Dividend, £6 13s. ■ . '■ Hurdle Handicap. — Orient I, Freebooter 2, Forest King 3. Dividend, £1 18s. Local Hurdles.— Halicore 1 , Taurika 2, Loch Lomond 3. Dividend, £l 13s. Wellington Steeplechase Handicap. ' —Denbigh 1 , Secretary 2, Victor; 3. Dividend, £4. The Selling Hack Eaee was won by Mr T. H. Hill's Spartan, defeating* six others. Consolation Handicap— Victor ,1, J. L. Sullivan 2, Freebooter 3. Dividend, £2 ss. ;' £2437 was put through the machines during the day. .
