It is reported that Caffrey and Penn after having committed the Great Barrier murder, went to sea, hoisting the black flag. Thar, is no news of the police steamer which has gone in pursuit. j Later, j The i.i. Rowena returned from the , Barrier Island thii afternoon with the coroner and the police. The- inquest was concluded on Tuesday night, when a verdict ef wilful murder was returned against John Caffery and Henry Penn. Nothing was seen of the Sovereign of the Sea. The steamer returns to-night to search the Great and Little Barrier Islands and round Cape Colville for the cutter.
