The mayor has given a banquet to celebrate the Jubileo of the aoeession of Iter Majesty the Queen to the throne. All the personages of the city and district were present.
The Premier has given notice of motion in the Legislative Assembly for a gra nt of a sum not exceeding £10,000 to Sir John Robertson for distinguished patriotic service in New South Wales.
