Hepburn, x»ne. of the pioneers of Ballarat, makes known the following antidote to strychnino. The remedy is salad oil. In three cases of his own staid greyhounds he has proved its eflioacy, eveu although couyulsion^ had alreiidy coninieiiced. He gives a small bottleful of salad oil at ' oiie dose, and in about an hour's time a large dose of caster oil.
