Mrs Whiffles was impersonated by a lady amateur, who is a great acquisition to the strength of the Company. The other parts taken by Mr Hawkins as Whiffles, Mr Johnston as Mr , Brownjohn, Mr W. J. Haybittle as Pygmalion Phibbs, and ijydiaj byasecond lady amateur, were aU excellent in the several characters. After tiie interval Mr H. W. Haytnttle gave a recitation with more than Ms usual good taste aud feeling. The Musical Interlude by the Orchestra, under the leadership of Herr Nor oferg, was excellent. The curtain then .nae to the farce, " Joffins Latchkey,'' and disclosed Mrs 81oggs who had a most interesting soliloquy to deliver, tiio effect of which was spoiled by the members of the Orchestra marching item their daces in front of the stage down the Halt However, the lady managed her part very well, and maintained the interest of her audience throughout. Mr Jolly was very good as Mr Joffins, and acted his part to the life. Mr Pirani as Mr Sloggs was iv " a meet exceUent vein. " The role of Elizabeth Ann, the servant maid, was charmingly acted by the aame lady frfuM**" 1 * who took the part of Mrs Whiffles in the comedy. The &roe concluded amid loud applause.
