This Day. The Supreme Court han been occupied for the last two days in hearing the case of Frank McDowell r Jas. McDowell, draper, of Wellington, brought to recover £500 damages for malicious proaecution arising out of levera! charges of embezzlement preferred by the present defendant against Frank McDowell, who had been in his emploj as trarellipg salesman, and all of which had been dismissed. At midnight the jury returned a verdiot in farar of the plaintiff, and awarding £75 damages with costs against defendant.
