(BEUTEH's TBLKGBAMB.) Stdney, April 17. The secend day's races of tho Hawkesbury Racing Club's Autumn meeting came ofE to-day. The principal event on tho card was the Hawkesbury Autumn Handicap (one mile and a half), for which a field of 12 horses faced the starter. A great race took place, ending in Lancer securing first by a length from Bonnie Bee, and Cerise and Blue third. Time, 2mm. 38J sec. (feb united fbess association.) Wellington, April 18. The socond day's raoing at the Hutt took place 5 to-day. The weather was fine until 4 o'clock when light showers fell. About 800 persons wore present. Local Handicap — Fisherman 1, Cock of tho Walk 2, Forward 3. Won easily. Dividend £13 10s. Heretaunga Handicap — Hermitage 1, Tit Bit 2, Silence 3. Billy, Miss Dargon, Fay, Okato, and Rollo also ran. Won by half a length, after a grand race. Dividend £13 17s. The Cavalry race was won by Taurika. Consolation — Miss Dargon 1. Eight others Btarted. Dividend £5 13s.
