A f_REUTERS' TELEGRAMS.! 0 London, March 27. At the wool sales 53,000 bales were catalogued, of which 6500 were withdrawn. All merinos are quoted a* £d, and scoured and clothing sorts a Id lower than last sales. Prices for lambs and coarse crossbreds are unchanged. Finer qualities are weaker. At to-day's wool sales 8900 bales were submitted for competition, the tone of the market being still quiet. The wheat market is weaker, American quotations have declined a point; Australian shipments are sixpence cheaper. For a cargo on passage, 358 has been asked. The flour market is sluggish.
