The lonic brought 200,000 salmon ova for distribution in various parts of the Colony. Two cases of brown trout eggs, and a small box of salmon ova were also brought out in the refrigerator and frozen hard, this being done by way of an experiment. The salmou ova will be distributed as follows: — One box to the Wellington and Wairarnpa Acclimatisa* tion Society, one box each to Nelson, Dunedin, Invercargill, and Qneenstown and four boxes to Canterbury.
