Manchester Rifles
The Manchester Eilles assembled for church parade " on last Sunday evening and were marched to St. John's Church headed by the band. The attendance of members was somewhat limited and the corps was considerably out-numbered by the band. On their return from church Captain Macarthur addressed them and said there would be a parade at the Public Hall on next Saturday evening at eight o'clock when the prize money won at the recent firing would ho handed over to the winners. Claims against the corps for expenses at the last Easter encampment will be settled at the same time. The names of officers, non-couimissiijned officers, and men who will be able to attend the Easter encanipuitmt to be . held at \Vanganui next April, will be .taken Those members who lived ■in the country were requosUvi-^'Hro "inform others, who were not then present, of this. The men were then dismissal.
