PALMERSTON RACES.
The following is the result of the races at Palmerston yesterday : — Handicap Hurdles — Denbigh 1, Patent Safety 2, Onepu 3. Allegro came in first but was disqualified for running round two hurdles. Dividend inside, £3 13s, outside, £3 ss. Hack Hurdles— Aroha f, Slaughterman f. These horses ran off the dead heat which resulted in a second dead heat, when the owners agreed to divide the stakes. Dividend 16s. Flying Handicap — Hagar 1, Normanby 2, Lady Florence 3. Lady Florence bolted round the course. Dividends, inside £5 10s, outside £5 18s. Selling Hack Eace — Larrikin 1, Lady Emma 2, Eeform 3. The winner was sold for £25. Dividends, inside £2 4s, outside £2 ss. M.E.C. Handicap — Waitiri 1, Eumour 2, Landseer 3. This was a good race, and was won easily. Dividends, inside £2 Is, outside £1 18s. Ladies' Bracelet — Tawera 1, Eambler 2, Alena 3. Dividends, inside £1 17s, outside £2 4s. Stewards' Stakes — Eumour 1, Normanby 2, J. L. Sullivan 3. Dividends, inside £l 10s, outside £1 lis. Extra Hack Eace — Moturekei 1, Larrikin 2, Coral 3. Dividend, £22 10s. ___________________
