GladI stone, Premier and First Lord of the Treasury ; Sir Farrel Herschell, Q.C., j Lord High Chancellor; Earl Spencer, Lord President of the Council ; Earl Granville, Secretary of State for the Colonies ; Lord Roseberry, Secretary for Foreign Affairs ; Mr Hugh Child-' era, Secretary for the Home Department; Earl Kimberley, Secretary of State for India ; Mr Henry Campbell Bannerman, Secretary of State for j War ; Sir Wm, Vemon Harcourt, Chancellor of the Exchequer ; Marquis of Ripon, First Lord of the Admiralty ; Mr John Morely, Chief Secretary for Ireland ; Mr A. J. Mundella, President of the Board of Trade ; Mr Joseph Chamberlain, President of Loaal Government Board; Mr Charles Russel, Attorney-General; and Mr George Otto Trevelyan, Chief Secretary for Scotland.
