Palmerston North, up to Wednesday, 3rd February, 1886, at 9 p.m. Weights will be declared on Wednesday, 10th February. ACCEPTANCES, For Handicap Hurdles, Flying Handi-cap7.M-B.j3} HaidiC&p, Ladies' Bracelet, and Sfewarasf 'Stakes cldse on Monday, 22nd February, at 9 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS, No Wtry will be received for any Race except upon this condition. — That all Disputes, Claims, and Objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the secretary, Palmerston North ; ,Entr.aace, M M.,onej^. enclosed with Name, Age at the time of Entry, Pedigree, and, in the case of Handicaps, Performances of the Horse, Name of the Owner, anq Colors of the Rider. Any Jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 3sovs. When two or more horses start (the property of the same owner) a Distinguishing Colour-must be worn. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give Notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the scales one half«hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this Rule shall pay a fine of 5 soys to the Hace Fund. AU 'faces to be run under the W.J.C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. No horse to save its stakes in any race except where otherwise specified. All Entries and Nominations must be in the hands of the secretary at the tin c and place as advertised, accompanied by I the amount of riomi nations and entrance money.
