TREATED FOR THE WRONG COMPLAINT.
Tt is at nil time? hard to lose one whom we hold dear, but it i* terribly so wlion we huvn the consciousnes> that but for mistaken treatment the lovod one rnig-lr, have been with us still. In some cases the fact that the sufferer is treated for the wrons complaint is known in sufficient time to admit of the patient beinjr saved, and the following is a cose in point :— A little more rhan two years ago,a beautiful lady in New Y-.rk was given up to die ot consumption. Her fond parents took her to Paris as a last resort, in^u'tig: to find come skilful physic&n ifaere .capable of arresting th« rapid strides of the supposed dreidful disease. In this their hopes Were blighted, but fortunately away in. that distant foreign city they met. with a description of a new method -of treating Dyspepsia, which emanated 'itrom tlie Mount Lebanon >hakers of the State ot .'New York. The thought struck the pare: ts of tnis he'piess •yi>un,- jrirl that perhaps their daughter -was afflicted with Indigestion or Dyspepsia, and not consumption ; and if so, there mi^ht be a chance of her recovery. Someof the Curative Syrup, made especially ior the cure of Dys pejisia, was obtained and a.. ministered to I lie patient, and the result w.is marvellous, 'i o-day their daughter lives in the enjoyment of good health. The fact was, the patient had been treated for the wrong complaint, and when she was treated ior Dyspepsia (her ral trouble), all the alarming symptoms of consumption vanished. This is not an isolated case. The country is full of suffering thousands thai are being treated for Liver Complaint, Malaria, Kidney Disease, Lung Disorders, &c, &c, when the fact is they are afflicted with Indigestion in some of its varied forms, and all of iuch sufferers would obtain relief if they were properly treated for Dyspepsia.
