During the examination or the boys at one of the superior schools in this district a few days ago, one of the papers set was to write down what was known of. John Wesley. Can there be a dead set against Mr Goschen among the Eadicals p It has long seemed like it, and now Mr Chamberlain and Sir Charles Dilke are accused by the Times of conspiracy to exclude Mr Goschen from the : <next Liberal Administration, and; even from,the'House of Commons. This charge is- .based on Mr Chamberlnih's allusioriin his election address to men "who' seek to stereotype the Liberal creed, and to make vain and fruitless the : reforms- they. "endeavour to prevent." Mr Goschen is a little too much, it is thought, for the united foroo of Dilke and Chamberlain,— Globe,
