She snd the twa Godfreys worn bronght up at tho R.M. Court and remanded fer eight daya. aa evideaee being taken. Two jewellers, to whom the ring oa the sever*! hand found at Summer has boon submitted for examination, hare Croaoabosd that the engraving af the tiers A.H. is recent work, not more than a fortnight old. Thoy ara also af opinion that tho letters have bsen cat by some person ant a regular engraver, and that a knifo or some sharp instrument different from a graver's tool has boon used. ltis stated .that another person, whoso name has net transpired is sue* pected of being prime mover in tha oon* spiracy. .■■■-.
