* [bEUTEBS TELEGBAMB.] Received December 29, I*ls a.m. Stdney, December 18. In the championship sculling match, Beach led from the start, and was never caught. It was evident from the outset that Matterson was over matched. His Excellency, Lord Camngton, followed the race, and congratulated Beach upon the victory. The betting was 3to 1 on Beach. The official time for the race was 24 minutes 10 seconds.
