The Pohangina Reefs

The Gorernment intend to have a report made on the auriferous nature of the Pohangina reefs, in the Manawatu district, as soon as one of the inspectors eanbe spared. The Gorernmont has telegraphed to Mr J. W. Marcjumt Chief Surreyor, Wellington District, aad who is new in Manawatu, asking him to make an inspection of the Pohangina reefs and ascertain whether it is worth while to send tip a geologist
