Concert at Campbelltown
A concert was held last night in the school room at Campbelltown in aid of, the funds oi the Church of England. There was a large attendance, the building being crowded to the doors. . The concert was opened' by the'Eeilding Brass Band playing a selection, entitled Zulieka. Several songs > were; . very well rendered by local amateurs* among whom wero members of -the McKenzie Band, Mr F R. DowKng, ' Mrs Dodwoll, Miss McKenue, and others. The Rev. Mr Dodwell led the . choir, the members of which acquitted themselves remarkably well. The) performance was conclnded with the National Anthem in which the banda ,. and the singers took united parka i The services of the Feilding Band were much appreciated, and they Were entertained at supper before they, took \ their departure for home. A vote of yA thanks was passed to Mr Bandmaster Daw and the members of the band, also the members of the McKenzie family band for the yaluable aid they had so willingly rendered:.. '•
