Feilding School Committee
A meeting of the committee of the Feilding State School was held at the schoolroom last night. Present — Messrs Nicholas (chairman), Watts (secretary), Cottrell, andEade. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The usual monthly report of the head teacher was read, and showed the following : — Number on the roll : Boys, 140; girls, 136; total 276. Attendance: Boys, 107; girls, 94; total 201. An application was made by the head teacher for certain repairs to be done to the school building. Resolved, That the secretary be authorised to get the necessary work completed in accordance with the application. Accounts amounting to £2 2s -were passed and ordered to be paid. This being all the business •• the meeting then adjourned.
