DEATH OP OSMAN DIGNA.
Eeceived October 8, 1.15 p.m. Caibo, October 7. Further details with regard to the recent encounter between the Abyssinian forces under Eas Aloulah. aud the Adendawa Arabs show that the Abyssimans gained a complete victory, carrying by assault the strongly entrenched position, and killing fully three thousand Arabs, amongst whom was Osman Digna, whose body was identified after the engagement. The Abyssinians lost a large number of men.
