Rebellion in Roumelia

Alsakoff avers that Austria and Russia have arranged to replace Prince Alexander ia the spring by a Russian vassal, and to absorb Ronmelia, Austria at the tame time annexing Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prince Alexander will emdeavour to forestall this plot. Russia insists on his deposition or compensation ia the form of command of the Bosphorns. Germany is favourable to his deposition, while England opposes it. The relations betweeen Austria and Russia are strained. Belgbadb, October 6. In consequence of the Roumelian complications, Serria has raised the standing army to 100,000 men by calling out tho first-class reserve. " The Czar has favourably received a deputation from Bulgaria. • . .. October 7. A. division of the Servian Army has been instructed to proceed to the frontier, and is now marching in that direction. ______________
