A middle-aged woman named Butler w.is discovered »n Saturday morning dead in her house with her skull fractured and other injuries. It was at first thought her death was due to the bursting -of a bloodvessel, but an examination showed she died from violence. JN'o arrest has yet been made.

The medical examination has shown that the wounds on Mrs Butler eoald not hare been self inflicted, or the result of a fall. The wall or the room opposite the bed wns bespattered with blood, showing she was attacked where she lay there.
