Astrea, Prince Imperial, and Pctronel did ser» ricable gallops, and Despot went oace round the course in grand style. Latest betting.— Acolyte has come up witb a rush, and is now at 100 to 12, and has been backed to win several thousand pounds. A large commission has been executed about Sloth at 100 to 9. Broker and Tom Brown have greatly receded in the betting, and are new at 100 to 6. There are inquiries for Astera at 100 to 10. The following have been scratched for the Stakes: —Soldier ßoy, Umbra, Cerise and Blue. Twenty-nine horses have accepted. There wa« again a large attendance at Taittersall's last erening, but only the favorites were backed. Litest betting — D< spot, _to 1 ; Prince Imperial, sto 1 ; Acolyte, 10 te 1 ; eacb of which are taken freely at those prices*.
