Municipal Corporations Act Amended
• NO MOEE "INFORMER" CASES. (from ottr own correspondent.) Wellington, September 9. Mr Stout introduces a short Bill today defining the word "contract" in i clauße64 of the Municipal Corporations Act to mean, and to have meant, a • contract as defined in clause 174. This will be retrospective, and will cover the difficulty in the cases arising all : over the colony; and members are being communicated with, so that there | is a good chance of the Act passing. [The above was issued as an Extra yesterday.]
