Poultry and Produce Society
1 A final meeting of the committee of this Society previous to the show on Thursday next, was held at Mr Bray's office on Saturday evening last. Mr Sherwill, the.President of the Society, in the chair. - : The minutes of the previous meeting ; were read and confirmed. The Feilding Brass Band having kindly offered their services at the show free of charge, it was resolved, That their offer be accepted with ! thanks. A list of a number of additional special prizes which had been promised was read out, and it was resolved, That the whole of the special prizes be advertised in the Star and Advocate. Eesolved, That entries be received up till 12 o'clock on the day of the show. A sub-committee was appointed to receive and arrange the exhibits commencing at 9 a.m. on the morning of the show. After making other minor and informal arrangements, the committee adjourned.
