MARTON V. FEILDING.
I . The return match between the ; Junior Clubs as above, was played here on Saturday afternoon The ball was kicked off at 2.30 p.m. by Marton, Feilding having the choice of goals. The match was played in two spells of 45 minutes.. each. During the first spell the ball: was kept well within the Marton twenty-five. W. Watts secured a touchdown for FeilcU ing, A. Parr taking the kick, but although the ball appekred to go over the bar yet the umpire declared it to be no goal — Feildiag 2. In the second spell one of the Marton lad* obtained a try — Marton 2. During the progress of the game Marton was forced down seven times and Feilding twice. The game was therefore declared in favor of Feilding. Messrs Belfit and Corkery umpired for Feilding and Marton respectively. The visitors left by the 6.30 train for home. They were loudly cheered aa the train left the platform.
