A large native meeting will be held here about the middle of this month, on the southern shores of the lake, to discuss native matters and the land court, whioh will be held some time next month. At the meeting will be Te Ifeahen, Topia. Teurau, and other influential chiefs of the Ngahtewhatetoi tribe. The native* generally have a strong tendency to havo. their several blocks of land individually, at the aext sitting of the court.
